Very happy to discover your new blog, I love your work.
And this doll is very poetic..
what size is it?
Your work makes me ache. Raw, beautiful, horrific.
I can’t turn away.
Thanks for the nice comments, it wasn’t hard to think back on times when I have had my heart broken and pull some inspiration from those experiences.
The doll, I believe, is about 15 to 16 inches tall.
Would you mind if I featured the top photo in my blog on the Houston Chronicle? I’ve been working on a post that I think would really sum up the emotion I’m trying to express. I would, of course, link back to your website for credit.
I love this piece! Beautiful work, and I like the new blog. Will you be attending the show?
Unfortunately I won’t be attending the show. I’ve seen the pics from the last opening and granted, it was Strychnin’s NYC opening, but -wow- what a party! Looks like a ton of fun.
The art in this doll, priceless!
I saw your link and gorgeous doll at the Houston Chronicle blog by Jenny … WOW! I adore your art, it is amazing!
Incredible artwork! Belongs in the “Funk Yard”, a colony of progressive artists who have stepped off the planet!
