This is a wonderful idea and it worked nicely! It brings your art to a new dimension. I’d love to have one of these at home.
Very raw work. Such emotional depths. Love it.
Love the shadow boxes Beth, and your dolls for the show are Awesome!! The show looks Waaaay cool! You are amongst some wonderful artists!! Congrats!!
Happy Hauntings, Gail
I love it (as I do all your work) but I can’t see what is in their mouths very well? Is there something there or is it that they don’t have tongues???? So very intriguing!!! If you EVER have a show in the Seattle area you must post, so I can go see it!
Hi Linda, their mouths are stuffed with cherries. Plastic cherries that is. They got all melty when I was curing the heads – which was just the sort of effect I was looking for.
It has been some time since I showed in your neck of the woods but I will certainly let you know if I do.
Fantastic… I love your work and so happy to seeing it going out to the world!

Really awesome shadow boxes, Beth. What is the overall size of the ox?
I mean, the Box! My fat fingers missed the “b”.
Is each box 5×7 or is the stack that size?
Each individual box is 5×7 but I stacked them on top of each other to photograph all of them together. Less glare for some reason. Glad you like!
I am rarely moved by someones work to the point where I feel compelled to comment, but your art is truly remarkable. While the pieces are initially a bit startling, the unique style and quality of the work are fabulous and fun to explore. I have found myself going to every nook and corner of your site to take in more. The pieces really trigger emotion, curiosity and stir creative thinking. I love it all.
That is so sweet Linda, thank you for the nice comment. I’m so glad you felt compelled to share your thoughts.
These are wonderful Beth! I can’t wait to see them in person in July! I will be showing at Strychnin’s vault then.
Thanks Lisa! Your travels are clearly treating you well – many inspirations for your art. I saw your review in Juxtapoz. You must be very, very proud. I know your show at Strychnin will be great. Say hello to my morbid boxes.
