The 2 dolls I have in the show have a special accompaniment. Using old photographs from my family’s archive, I combined photos of the dolls with images of women from my family history.The images are a celebration of misfits and ghosts. Gourds
A studio visitor brought me a bounty of dried gourds several months ago. I have slowly been making my way through the warty looking vegetation, slowly converting each piece into various types of dolls and wall relief. Enjoy!

Oooh la la, I love the combinations with bones! Did you ever fix up a stand for the skull piece?
I have actually ordered two different acrylic riser type of things to try, neither worked. I’m thinking it is time to take it out of the box and make it a free standing head.
