Congratulations on the great coverage–I hope you feel good about it. I love love your dolls esp the skull headed bird ones, they are so wonderful (are they real skulls or taxidermy skulls?? I have a real one and I am waiting for the right inspiration to use it–that and how to stick it onto the shoulders of a doll since there is no NECK, LOL)
You will need to drill a hole into the bottom of the skull so you can insert your armature. That is why I only use resin skulls, I would break a real skull. That – and real skulls are so expensive I could never make an affordable Dr Scops if I were to go that route.
Congratulations! I have been admiring your dolls for some time- They are truly soul-stirring – have often wondered about you/how they come to be. I loves the article they wrote. It gave insight without being to “personal” – and yet allowed your fans (hand raised- Me!me!me!) a glimpse into the creative process that is.
I also have a “show and tell” in that publication – and when I found out that my doll would be picked for the issue that you were profiled in – well, I am honored. So, thank you, for your dolls and your inspirations.
