My dolls are on display throughout March at the Brownell Library in Essex Junction, Vermont. The librarians plan to use the dolls for some writing exercises.
In other news, it seems that it’s official: February 2011 is the snowiest on record in Burlington, Vermont. The city reached 42.8 inches this year. And I think we felt every inch. From December, January, and February we’ve amassed more than eight feet of snow.
Winter records broken this year in my life:
- one very embarrassing fall on ice while trying to text
- my car got stuck and I had to be rescued by neighbors (my 15 year track record without incident is now broken)
- the installation of a car starter (which is worth its weight in gold)
- no January Thaw to speak of
