We want to thank everyone who came to the opening night of the Art of Horror and brought family and friends to enjoy the spookier side of Burlington’s art scene. What a turn out!
More importantly, we want to thank all of the very talented artists in the area (and beyond) who were willing to share their darker side with us. You made the show simply captivating! Kevin, Justin and I really enjoyed pouring over the work and getting increasingly more excited about all of the new artists we were discovering.
The Art of Horror will be on display until October 29 at both the S.P.A.C.E. Gallery as well as The Backspace. We are located at 266 Pine Street, Burlington, Vermont:
Thursday to Saturday
The crowds gather to enjoy spooky goodness…

One of the best parts of the event is always the food….
And then, of course there is the art….
Some of the newest pieces I created for the show. Polymer clay “specimens” in coconut shells.
I seem to regularly have people bring me the most amazing treats. This batch of ventriloquist heads showed up the night of the opening. And yes, when you pull on the string, the mouth moves. We distributed them liberally throughout the galleries.
