I have a few new things ready for the holidays: ghoulish christmas ornaments, medusa-like magnets for stocking stuffers, and a macabre christmas tree topper. You can check out all the goods on my etsy shop.

An Aviary is a large enclosure for confining birds. In the Strange Dolls’ Aviary you will find birds that have become so comfortable living outside of their natural habitat, that they have started to adopt certain humanoid traits. Enjoy anthropomorphic sculptures and prints of these dandies and ladies on the 2nd floor of Studio Place Arts in Barre from July 19 through August 13. 2013.
Hope to see you there!
Haemolacria is a physical condition that causes a person to produce tears that are partially composed of blood. It can manifest as tears that are anything from merely red-tinged to appearing to be entirely made of blood. Haemolacria is a symptom of a number of diseases, and may also be indicative of a tumor in the lacrimal apparatus. It is most often provoked by local factors such as bacterial conjunctivitis, environmental damage or injuries. (Wiki Source)
My Haemolacria dolls will be on display for the EVERYTHING THAT CREEPS show in Waltham, Massachusets for ONE WEEK ONLY.
Opening reception is Saturday, October 27 from 7-10pm.

On the Sunday after the Art of Horror opening, Sarah Vogelsang-Card and I trekked over to the Winooski Welcome Center and Pop Up Galleries to set up our Halloween window installation called “Lost Dolls”. It is a preview of the collaborative show we will be doing next August at the Backspace Gallery. It will be on display all month at 39 Main Street in Winooski, VT (the first set of big windows on the round-a-bout).
Sarah’s husband Jay, was unbelievably instrumental in the hanging process and their son Zarek, was a calm surveyor of the whole scene. I don’t think the windows would have come together without the whole Vogelsang-Card family.
